About Us
Spoilt Puppy is the wonderful creation of Kon, Dawn and Alex, Hi I’m Alex…I’m here to tell you a little about Spoilt Puppy and how we got started. Firstly everything we make is made by hand with lots of love and a care for our dogs.
We established Spoilt Puppy in the spring of 2008, just after we’d returned from a holiday in Europe. We had finished the trip with a much anticipated stop over in Paris and spent the day walking along the Champs Elysees. When we came to the Louis Vuitton shop, out the front was a large white standard poodle wearing a hot pink Chanel inspired jacket and more bling than I had ever seen, she was taking her owner for a walk….. We’d decided then and there to design and make clothing for our own pups Paddy, Selma and Gucci, 3 gorgeous Dachshunds and to see what would happen.
What happened was every time we took our dogs for a walk we were stopped and asked “Where did you buy those clothes from?" and then “Can you make some for us?”… so we did.
We then created a range of All Natural Dog Products to accompany our clothing line. Shampoos, spritzers, soaps, balms and healthy tasty treats, things I’d been making for our own pups, it seemed the natural thing to do.
All our Clothing and our products are home made by us, here in Australia with our Knits being hand Knitted by our family friend” Nifty Needles” Judy Rogers in New Zealand.
We now have over 36 lines of clothing and 9 different products and attend the craft markets and dog shows where we sell our clothing and products, and now, we are extremely proud to bring them to you online.
